Manage Your Time Without Overwhelm

Okay, let’s be serious. As high-achieving women who are trying to hold things down at work and in our personal lives, I think we are all going to be overwhelmed sometimes.

But in my experience, there are three things that can significantly reduce how overwhelmed you feel on a daily basis.

Get clarity on how you’re currently spending your time.

There are 168 hours in a week. Figuring out how you spend those 168 hours is going to give you a gold-mine of information and insight into how you approach your life⸻specifically, your time management. You also want to be introspective and ask yourself if the way you spend your time aligns with the goals and the vision you have for your life.

A practical, realistic, and personalized schedule that allows you to manage each aspect of your life systematically—and with more ease.

Once you have clarity about your time management and know about how long everything takes to complete, you can create a schedule that gives you a clear roadmap. This schedule should allow you to keep up with work, your family, self-care, and those goals you’ve been procrastinating on. 👀

Discipline and/or accountability to stick to your schedule (as much as possible).

Not to sound cliche, but the schedule won’t work unless you do! No, but seriously. You also need the discipline to stick to your schedule. If you struggle with discipline, you can consider hiring a coach to hold you accountable and provide strategies to help you be consistent. Its worth it because scheduling your time gives you more freedom to do the things you enjoy.

If you are ready to replace overwhelm, burnout, excuses, and self-sabotage with a clear mind, the ability to follow through on your plans, and the confidence to start what you say you’re going to start…
